Important iOS 17 Information

Dear BDS Team,
I hope this message finds you well. We would like to bring to your attention an important development that may impact our operations starting next week. Apple is set to release iOS 17 on Monday, September 18th, and we want to ensure that our organization is well-prepared for this update.

At BDS, we rely heavily on Insight Center, to track and manage our in-store visits efficiently. However, we regret to inform you that, as of now, Insight Center is not compatible with iOS 17. This means that if any of our team members upgrade their devices to iOS 17, they will encounter issues while using Insight Center, which could disrupt our daily operations and data tracking.

Considering this situation, we strongly advise against upgrading to iOS 17 on any of your devices, including iPhones and iPads, until we have resolved the compatibility issues with Insight Center. Our technical team is actively working on a solution, but we anticipate that it may take some time to ensure a seamless experience with iOS 17.

To prevent any disruptions and ensure the continuity of our services, we recommend the following:

  • Delay iOS 17 Upgrades: Please instruct your teams to postpone any iOS 17 upgrades until further notice. We will communicate updates regarding Insight Center's compatibility with iOS 17 as soon as they become available.
  • Communication to Field Staff: Ensure that all our field staff members are aware of this situation and that they are informed not to upgrade their iOS devices at this time.
  • Monitor for Updates: Our IT team will be actively monitoring the progress of resolving the compatibility issues with iOS 17. We will keep you informed about our progress and notify you as soon as we have a solution in place.

We understand the inconvenience this may cause, but your cooperation in this matter is crucial to maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our operations. We are committed to resolving this issue promptly and will prioritize its resolution.
